Inspired by Isaiah is a community hub supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across Sandwell, the Black Country, and Birmingham. More than a youth club — we take a holistic approach that puts mental health, family wellbeing, and genuine inclusion at the centre of everything we do. Our sessions run through term time, weekends, and school holidays, with trained mental health first aid staff, sensory-friendly environments, and adaptive activities for all ability levels. No child is ever turned away due to their needs. We also support families through monthly coffee mornings for parents and carers, peer support networks, and guest speakers — because supporting a child with SEND affects the whole family. Our safeguarding goes beyond basic requirements, with enhanced DBS checks, specialist SEND safeguarding training, trauma-informed care, and multi-agency working. We use visual aids, Makaton, and flexible participation so every child can engage at their own pace. We are working to create a more inclusive society where every child with SEND can thrive and reach their full potential.
