About CIC Tools
Built by someone who has done the paperwork
CIC Tools is not built by a tech company. It is built by a CIC founder who knows the pain of formation paperwork, policies and grant applications.
For over a decade I have been out on the streets of the North West, feeding and supporting people experiencing homelessness. What started as a couple of volunteers serving 15 meals a week has grown into a team of 300+ volunteers reaching over 4,000 people every month.
Running a community organisation taught me something frustrating. The paperwork and admin can be just as overwhelming as the work itself. Formation documents, policies, grant applications: I spent more time on admin than actually helping people.
So I built CIC Tools, and I used it myself. I ran our own CIC36 and Articles of Association through this exact wizard. It is the tool I wish had existed when I started.
Our mission
Less time on admin. More time making a difference.
Built from real experience
Every part of CIC Tools exists because a CIC founder needed it. It was used to register Homeless Aid UK CIC before anyone else used it.
Affordable by design
CICs run on tight budgets. One-off prices, no subscription for the documents, and nothing that punishes you for doing good work.
Plain questions, finished documents
You answer questions in ordinary language. CIC Tools turns them into the documents Companies House and funders expect.
A person at the other end
Messages come to Ben, and every paid formation application is read by him personally.
