Illustrative excerpt for a fictional organisation. This shows part of a policy; your wording is based on your answers. The response periods are choices made by this fictional organisation, not prescribed legal deadlines.

Your answers shape the contacts, responsibilities and arrangements described in your policy. Review and edit the wording before adopting it.

How it works

From questions to policies you can use.

You create each policy through its own questions. Payment opens the generators; it does not produce six finished documents without your input.

Why CIC Tools

Built by someone who needed these policies too

I'm Ben Ahern, co-founder of Homeless Aid UK CIC, which feeds around 1,000 people a week. I did our own formation paperwork, then the policies funders asked for, then the grant applications. None of it was hard once you knew what the forms wanted, but finding that out took far longer than it should.

CIC Tools is that knowledge turned into plain questions. The Policy Pack asks how your organisation actually works and drafts each policy from your answers. You review it, change what you need to, and adopt it when you are happy with it.

Questions before you buy

Clear answers about the Policy Pack

Which six policies are included?

Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Data Protection, Equal Opportunities, Complaints Procedure and Conflict of Interest. Each has its own generator and its own set of questions.

How are they tailored?

Each policy asks about the people, activities and arrangements it needs to cover, such as who your safeguarding lead is, what information you hold, or how complaints are handled. Your answers shape the contacts, responsibilities and arrangements written into the policy.

What information will I need?

The basics of how your organisation works: who is responsible for what, where you operate, what you do and who you do it with. If you do not know an answer yet, you can make a decision, write it in, and change the policy later.

Can I edit the wording?

Yes. Every policy opens in an editor inside CIC Tools. Change anything before you save or download it, and come back to edit later.

Can I download Word and PDF versions?

Yes. Download an editable Word document, or save a PDF through the print option in your browser.

How long can I generate policies?

The Policy Pack includes twelve months of AI-assisted policy generation from the date of purchase. You can generate, regenerate and edit any of the six policies during that time.

What happens to my saved policies afterwards?

Completed, saved policies stay available to view, edit and download after the twelve-month generation period. Only new AI-assisted generation stops.

Are these included with my Formation Pack?

Yes. If you bought the CIC Formation Pack through CIC Tools, policy access is included with your pack. Sign in and open Policies from your dashboard; you will not be asked to pay again while your access is active.

Does Ben personally review these policies?

No. The Policy Pack provides guided, AI-assisted policy drafting for you to review and adapt to your actual working arrangements. Personal review is not included in this offer.
